Background

This client regularly relies on us for rush courier deliveries throughout Orlando and across Florida. When they landed an important project for one of their customers, they knew they had a challenge on their hands.

Project

The client’s project involved receiving, fulfilling, packaging, and distributing thirty pallets of product. While the opportunity was exciting, their facility simply wasn’t designed to handle that volume of inventory at one time. They only had enough space to comfortably store about five pallets at a time, making it impossible to receive all thirty pallets at their location.

Rather than scrambling to find temporary warehouse space or disrupting their operations, they reached out to Take 2 Logistics.

The Solution

After discussing the project requirements, we developed a plan that would allow them to keep production moving without worrying about storage limitations.

When the shipment arrived, our team received all thirty pallets. Each pallet was carefully inspected and verified to ensure the shipment was accurate and in good condition. Once confirmed, the inventory was organized and secured where it would remain protected and readily available when needed.

For approximately a month, we served as an extension of our client’s operation, managing the inventory while their team focused on fulfilling orders and serving their customer.

As production ramped up, we coordinated deliveries based on their workflow. The first shipment of four pallets was delivered to their facility, giving their team enough inventory to process and distribute without overwhelming their available space.

When those pallets had been worked through, we delivered another four.

Then another four.

And another.

The Result

By releasing inventory in stages, we helped our client maintain a smooth production schedule without having to lease additional warehouse space, purchase equipment, or rearrange their entire operation to accommodate a one-time project.

The result was simple: the project stayed on schedule, the customer received what they needed, and our client never had to worry about where the next shipment would go.
