At Take 2 Logistics, we believe in setting goals.

When we opened our doors 10 months ago, we set some ambitious goals for ourselves. They weren’t easy goals, but we believed they were achievable if we stayed focused, worked hard, and continued to improve.

We primarily focused on two measurements:

 Top Line Revenue

Revenue is obviously important to every business, but to us, it represents something more.

Revenue represents the trust our clients place in us.

Every shipment we handle is a client trusting Take 2 Logistics with an important part of their business. As our revenue grows, it tells us that more clients are choosing to work with us and that our existing clients continue to trust us with their shipments.

That’s why we see revenue as more than just a number. It’s one way we measure whether we are delivering the quality logistics experience we promised our clients.

Bottom Line Profit

We are also a business, and businesses need to make money.

Profit allows Take 2 Logistics to remain financially strong, invest in our people, improve our technology and processes, and continue building the company for the future.

Growing is important. Growing profitably is what makes that growth sustainable.

We Don’t Just Set Goals. We Measure Them. The entire team reviews them!  

Every week, we review our results.

We look at our revenue. We look at our profitability. We talk about our clients. We discuss what’s going well, where we’re falling short, and what we can do better.

And those conversations don’t just happen among managers.

We believe our entire team should understand where the company is going, how we are performing, and what each of us can do to help us get better.

It creates accountability, but more importantly, it creates ownership.

… 10 Months Later…

It took 10 months of hard work, dedication, problem-solving, and constantly looking for ways to improve, and we achieved our first set of goals🎯.

We’re proud of that.

But we also know we didn’t get there alone.

We got there because our people are amazing.

And we got there because our clients are amazing.

Our clients gave Take 2 an opportunity to earn their trust and their business. Our team took that responsibility seriously and came to work every day focused on delivering the level of service those clients deserve.

So today, we’re taking a moment to celebrate what we’ve accomplished together.

Then we’ll do what we always do:

Set the next goal and get back to work.

Because our goal isn’t simply to build a successful logistics company.

Our goal is to provide the best logistics experience in the industry.

And we’re just getting started.
